thee races.

every year my parents come down for the races. matt, my dad, and the girls go. this year only matt and megan went. their day started at around 6:00 to get ready, and they left about 7:15. they had a fun filled day with meeting the force family, getting signatures, meeting the drivers, and of course collecting junk. they got home around 8:00 and were pretty wiped out.

and of course ashleys future husband racing. morgan lucas.

duck creek.

a couple weeks back we decided to take the girls up to duck creek in cedar. it was so beautiful and cold for sure. the leaves were just barely changing colors, but we got there before the weather got to terrible you aren't able to reach it.

homecoming

For the second year in a row Ashley was chosen homecoming attendee. She asked Kaden Brown to be her escort. He looked pretty sharp in his white tux :) as of now we don't have any pictures of them together, but when we get them, we will upload right away. Here are a few pictures.

Be on the LOOKOUT

That's right. We have a permit driver in the family. Ashley failed to post this information to the blog. This will serve as a warning to those driving the local streets. Actually she is doing quite well and will hopefully be a licensed driver early 2010.

mamma's day 09.

so last weekend after a lonnng evening at the track, we headed to Christopher Creek to join the rest of the family for a small reunion. we enjoyed the cooler weather, the chaos of family, and the spectacular views of Christopher Creek. when we arrived Saturday morning about 9 o clock, no later than 5 minutes of getting there the Robinettes showed up at my parents. we enjoyed each others company throughout the day and ended it with a barbeque of hot dogs, hamburges, and of course you can't forget the s'mores. (thanks steph). the next morning we woke up with sissy and her husband bob downstairs. they traveled 4 hours from New Mexico to visit for the reunion. once everyone got going we took family pictures and headed up to Christopher Mountain. the view was amazing, as always. b-ea-utiful weather, light breeze, great company, and lots of laughter. when we got back steph, ashley, and i headed to Payson to get some things for the family. on our way back we stopped and got some coke icee's mhhhmmm. the best!! pat and janice left that night.. so it was pretty quiet at dinner, we had chicken and s'mores again :) ashley had found some chocolate and vanilla marshmellows at wal-mart that she thought were pretty cool. they just weren't very good. then on monday morning everybody left about 11 monday morning. it was a good and enjoyable weekend with family, friends, and cousins.
