brooklynn is the bomb, and nobody can say otherwise! she sings, dances, and fantisizes about adam lambert i mean who doesn't like him. ha. sike. anyways she always finds time during the summer to come over here and play board games with us or watch a movie. she brings lunch every single time and she always doubles her amount than what she gave us :) it's funny.

our playdate.

yesterday megan and i made two new friends summer[3] and autumn[5 months]. both these girls are our next door neighbors and we had a play date with both of them! this morning megan and i were our cleaning my soon to be car (one day when it runs) and summer came over wanting to play house inside the car. so as we listened to hannah montana and jonas brothers we "drove" to, the park, lins, and a store. then we took a little trip to home hardware for string and beads to make bracelets. then when we got home it was time for her to leave :( but when she left another little baby came over. her name is autumn whiting and she is adorable! she is the happiest little thing i've ever seen in my whole life. my mom had her talking and laughing it was so cute. we didn't get any pictures with summer but we took some with autumn, here they are.

our gardener dad!!

lately our garden has been producing like crazy! we planted strawberries, jalapeno's, onions, green beans, artichokes, carrots, beets, snap peas, and tomatoes. my dad has invented this "acid juice" for the plants and supposedly it was supposed to make the plants grow bigger and produce more. nobody believed him, but obviously it seemed to work. my mom has been trying to keep up with the tomatoes and making salsa at least twice a week. and we can make most our salsa out of our garden! so it's nice. i love my mom's salsa :) mmmm.! here's some pictures of my padre harvesting haha.
we also have some lizard friends that like to come visit us during the summer. his name is lizzy and we haven't named his wife and kids yet.

track state.

so first off all i have to say about track was it was flippen freezing cold there. i secretly loved it, but at the same time it wasn't too nice running in snow :) this year state was in Reno Nevada. and on our way up there the bus broke down just outside of alamo which i might add was FABULOUSS!! NOT. it wasn't to bad. but we had to ride up with virgin valley.. and by the end of the trip we were all friends, which was nice. but here's some pics. Ashley

girls camppp!

every year, a week or so after school ends the logandale stake heads up to camp kolob for 4 days :) no cell phones, no electricity (except for nights in the bathrooms), and of course the worst partt; no boys. oh and by the way, if you couldn't tell by now it's ashley. my mom wouldn't say something about me missing boys.. anyways! girls camp is probably one of the best parts of my summer by far. it's so fun and you just get to be weird with a bunch of girls doing the same thing. no make-up and french braids everywhere. my favorite part of the whole camp is our songs and skit night! and of course our ward being the shizzle, we make up only the best skits and songs. the first night we're there we just have fun and mess around with other wards, the second is skit nightt, and lastly but not least is testimony meeting. this year it started pouring right in the middle of our testimony meeting which made the fire go halfway out and to top it all off it was like a whopping 40 degrees! woooh. i really couldn't complain, because i'd rather be in that weather than the 110 at home!! but here's some fun pics from up at camp..

the happiest place on earth! :)

megan's school has had rewards for doing well in school this year which were called "pride trips" their last pride trip was held on friday, may 21st and they got to enjoy a wonderful trip to DISNEYLAND! although they were going to the happiest place on earth, they had to leave at 1:30 in the morning so i'm sure they weren't all the happiest about that. they first arrived to the park at 9:00, and left the park at 11:00 at night and then came home after a very long day. megan said she had woken up to the flashy lights as they came into Vegas and every single kid she saw was asleep. (no surprise) megan finally returned home at 5:30 in the morning. she enjoyed herself there with her best friend delia with mr. incredible :)

sports, sports, and MORE sports..

okay lately our schedule has been based on 3 things. softball, track and food. between school, sports practice, and me trying to get dinner ready on time there is not enough time in a day for anything else. this past week megan had a double header (two games back to back) and won both of them. this weekend ashley had division here in our little town, she will be going to state this upcoming next weekend in reno for the 100 hurdles, 2oo meter dash, 300 hurdles, and 4x4.

easter!!

never being too old to dye eggs, megan and ashley are a prime example of that. even i think i joined in to dye a few. however we miss dying them with the robinette's like we used to, we still had a blast.!

be warned

on april the 27th ashley went to take her license test, and to everybody's suprise she passed!! the only setback was that she forgot her social and birth certificate, so they couldn't give her the paper that said she officially passed. but she did. we'll go back in soon to get her picture and card, and it will be a huge help to the family that she can take megan and more importantly herself places she "needs" to go.

seasons gone by.

with volleyball and basketball over, track season has also almost come to it's end :( this year ashley has run the 100 meter hurdles, 4x100 meter relay, and 300 meter hurdles. sometimes she also runs the 100 m dash, 200 m dash, 4x200 and 4x400. but only being able to have 4 events per meet, it changes on a regular basis. hopefully in 2 weeks we will all be traveling to Reno for track state. this is ashley's favorite sport and she dreds when it ends. but she still has 2 more years after this year is over.

as if..

..anybody would ever think i would ever have a daughter who is a cheerleader. not me! we're slow updating this, but basketball was a busy season for megan who was on the sideline for every LMS game cheering the mustangs on. this cheer season is over. and recently they've had tryouts for next year. and megan made it again. yay!! (sarcasm) i'm SO looking forward to next years season. her team this year also took 1st in a competition in Vegas for their pom dance.
